The obvious goal in stroke and traumatic brain injury would be to restore normal cerebral blood flow and repair any effects of the lack of blood flow. Typical medical management of stroke are blood thinners, high blood pressure medications, drugs for cardiac disorders as appropriate, surgical procedures and rehabilitation therapies.
