Our treatment program has been designed to give the maximum amount of recovery possible for stroke and traumatic brain injury. Where the brain damage is located determines which nerves, muscles, organs and tissues will be affected. An individualized treatment program is created for each patient depending the location, severity and time since the injury. The obvious goal in stroke and traumatic brain injury would be to restore normal cerebral blood flow and repair any effects of the lack of blood flow. Typical medical management of stroke are blood thinners, high blood pressure medications, drugs for cardiac disorders as appropriate, surgical procedures and rehabilitation therapies. The question that must be asked is, where is the application of oxygen?
Dr. Steenblock's Clinic was founded upon the successful application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in combination with intravenous chelating and nutritional therapies to a woman who had suffered a massive stroke. Instead of the hospital, she was brought to the Clinic, on a stretcher requiring several men to move her. After "around the clock" therapies, while not 100% she was walking and talking on her own. |
